This didn't quite turn out the way I planned as I mucked up the image re-size so all the colours were a little too blured to get a more accurate picture, but I'm still happy with the final result. August 9th, 2004: Self Portrait - Skateboarder Shaddow...  This picture was originally a photo, taken at night using the night shot option on my phone, of my own shaddow. As the picure was quite dark, I first of all changed it into grey scale, then manipulated various shaddow, midtone and highlight settings. this was the final result. Experimental, but I'm happy with it - even without cleaning it up. July 30th, 2004July 27th, 2004July 23rd, 2004: Adalita...  Adalita was originally drawn for a skatebored deck competion, held by Red Herring. She had now become an alter ego, and the heroin in an on-going comic book project. July 20th, 2004: Cover For The Vines Fanzine  As the title says, this is the final cover art for The Vines Fanzine I am compiling - including the early posted images, some new ones and original photography from their last successful concert at The Forum Theater, Melbourne, back in May of this year. Compleation and independent publication is hopefully scuduald for the beginning of next month, so keep an eye out on my journal if you're interested, or add me to your friends list! July 9th, 2004: Kiss...  "Kiss" was originally part of a five page street press, called "Special", dealing with finding and losing love. The street press was never compleated. June 28th, 2004June 26th, 2004: Latest Project... The previous drawings are some that I have been working on after seeing and photographing The Vines playing at the Forum Theatre back in May. By compilling my drawings, other assorted art and photographs I've taken, I hope to create a visual "fanzine", if you will call it that. I hope to then be able to sell some copies, via here and e-bay. If you want to know when it's compleat, let me know. June 25th, 2004 |
